The Giudices attorney, Jim Kridel, released a statement today claiming the couple and the cast acted in self defense in last winter’s brawl. The Giudices are accused of beating and injuring Adolfo Arreola and his cousins after a bar fight in the Dominican Republic. It all started when Teresa sprayed champagne in Arreola’s mother-in-law’s face.
The attorney makes no denial when it comes to Teresa spraying the champagne however.
The attorney says “They acted in self defense” after a member of Arreola’s family assaulted Teresa. It looks like the Giudices are claiming to the be the victims in the whole fiasco. The attorney goes on to say “mere words are not provocation to hit someone. There’s no justification for that.”
Kridel goes after Arreola and his family and claims this is a money grab, “These people are very litigious and they are looking for an opportunity to look into someone else’s pocket.”
Can the Giudices claim self defense when they’re the ones that started the assault with the champagne?
