Continuing with the Kathy-Teresa dispute, Richie goes to talk to Joe Giudice to explain what Kathy really meant (the whole leaving-Adriana-alone comment). Joe tells him he doesn’t want to hear about it because he knows Teresa blows things out of portion…well, not in those exact words. Jacqueline tries to hash things out by talking to Teresa but it doesn’t really work, Teresa ends up going back to the group as if nothing happened. In my best Kathy voice “coo-coo coo-coo!”
Then the two Joes get into a “who’s taller?” dispute and settle it once and for all…only find out they’re the same height. They end up getting along the rest of the evening and bury the hatchet — for now. Joe Giudice ends up apologizing in his own Giudice way.
The next morning Joe Gorga cannot get enough of Melissa so he gets in the shower with her (against her wishes). Chris and Albie arrive to pick him up for golf and find them in the shower “around every corner is an adventure”. Joe comes out of the shower and his “Tarzan” is out in the open, a funny moment.
Meanwhile, the ladies go food shopping for Teresa’s “research”, she’s looking for inspiration for her next cookbook (Italian-latin). When they get to Higuey Market the ladies are disgusted by what’s around them, cutoff cow heads were just out in the open…yuck! However, Teresa acts like she’s in a shopping mall and continues on. The sight of headless chickens and heads everywhere would have most people disgusted wouldn’t you say?
For the last night in the Dominican Republic everyone decides to go out for dinner (Habachi), Greg, Chris, & Albie are first to arrive. During dinner the guys (Chris, Albie, and Greg) decide to select a “Punta Princess”. Teresa won for style, Kathy for creativity, than they ask an intellectual question, “who is the vice president?”. After answers like “Bill Clinton”, “the guy with the white hair” and “Dick Chaney” Melissa finally gets it right. Could this also be the night they got into that bar fight??
Back in New Jersey, the day of the “BLK” (Black Water) launch has arrived and a nervous Melissa struggles through a sound check. During the event Chris and Albie are extremely happy with the outcome but are nervous about Melissa. When the time comes for Melissa to perform she ends up blowing it out of the water.
And what do you know? Teresa pulls Kathy (with Rosie watching like a hawk) aside and actually apologizes to her. Kathy tells her she wants to go back to the way they used to be, Teresa concedes that she wants to as well. So, they are cool for now but we’ll see how long that lasts.
Next week is the season finale, does Teresa take a stab at Caroline? (could it be?) We’ll find out next week.
