“If you put your hands on someone, there will be repercussions”
Those were the words blogged by Jennifer Williams back in April, it seems she no longer feels that way.
According to TMZ Jennifer has dropped her lawsuit against her former “friend” Nia Crooks after Jennifer was smacked by Nia (on camera) during the filming of Basketball Wives Season 4. Jennifer was suing Nia for psychological damage and injuries from the smack.
Jennifer and Nia didn’t reach any settlement, Jennifer just dropped the civil suit and decided to move forward.
Jennifer, along with Rocye Reed and Kesha Nichols, were reportedly fired from Basketball Wives after Season 4; Vh1 has given no confirmation on who is out. Jennifer’s reported departure stemmed from her legal action against Crooks, something that Basketball Wives producers and certain cast members didn’t appreciate.
This morning Jennifer tweeted the following:
“FYI- dropping a civil lawsuit doesn’t mean you don’t have to deal with the criminal charges!”
Was it a good move for Jennifer to drop the civil lawsuit?
