Evelyn Lozada Files For Divorce 41 Days After Marrying Chad Johnson

Three days ago Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson were barely entering their second month of marriage and all seemed well; they were preparing for the debut of their reality show Ev & Ocho.

How quickly things can change.

Today Evelyn Lozada filed for divorce in Florida, citing the marriage has been “irretrievably broken”.

Evelyn and Chad’s marriage lasted 41 days, 31 days fewer than Kim Kardashian’s infamous 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.

Although neither Evelyn nor Chad have publicly spoken about the details surrounding the domestic dispute Saturday night, it has obviously caused enough damage to their relationship that Evelyn refuses to continue. Evelyn addressed the headbutting incident today via a statement but was vague, calling for Chad to take responsibility.

It’s entirely possible the headbutting incident was not the major factor in Evelyn’s decision to divorce Chad. It was reported earlier (on Radar Online) Chad cheated on Evelyn earlier this year while he was still living in Boston; could that have been the nail in the coffin?

It’s a good thing Evelyn hasn’t changed her name to Evelyn Johnson just yet.
